Vocabulary Practice

untitled (24)

Write vocabulary words on notecards and hang them around the house in places your kids will see a lot. For example, hang them on the bathroom mirror, on the refrigerator, beside the TV, on his or her night stand, etc. Then, have your child read the word, tell you the definition, and use the word in a sentence when they see the card. Before turning on the TV with the remote, do the vocabulary practice. Before brushing his or her teeth, do the vocabulary practice. You never know which word will be where in the house!
