Writing is easy to incorporate into your child’s daily life. Writing can be writing about a picture he or she drew, writing new words using magnet letters, writing an email to a friend, writing a letter to a grandparent, writing a thank you card, writing a new ending to a favorite book, or writing a new book. Be sure to have writing materials out where your child can use them frequently. You should have various types of paper, pencils, white boards, markers, computer, magnet letters, and more. If your child sees you writing, he or she is more likely to write as well.
