Learning shapes

untitled (10)

Your preschooler or kindergartner needs to be able to identify shapes. Here’s a fun way to practice. Make a card with each shape on it. Place the cards in a circle on the floor. Play music and have your child walk around the circle of shapes. Stop the music. Have your child tell you what shape he or she is standing on. Then, have your child tell you an object in your home that is the same shape. Fun and easy!
