Reading

Reading is everywhere and everything. Your kids can read the cereal box in the morning, read street signs on the way to school, or read labels in the grocery store. They can read magazines, comic books, newspaper articles, picture books, or chapter books. The key is to have reading material everywhere your kids are going to be. And, remember to praise the reading specifically. “I like that you read the words on the cereal box.” This makes more of an impact than, “Good reading.”
